On 1850 Perry Co. IN Census p. 381, family #531. Alexander McCollu m was a surety for Nathaniel Harris Ewing in the estate settlement for Nathan iel's father George Ewing, Jr. (May 27, 1850) Alexander does not appear wi th his wife and family in the 1870 Perry Co. census, so it is assume d that he died prior to 1870.
