General Notes:
James McGuiney died at 73 years of age and was a lifelong resident of Cannelton, Indiana. He resided at a home on Fifth Street. For a number of years, he was employed at the Indiana Cotton Mills, and for some years had been employed by Mr Lee Rodman as a yard man. He was a former county councilman and was a member of the fire department when he died. He was well loved by his fellow firefighters. When his funeral procession moved up the hill, the bell on the fire truck that was parked beside St. Michael's Catholic Church, was tolled a final farewell.
