Leut. Henry Obadiah Clark was a good friend of William T. Sherman and was treated like a son by him. The General made a gift of his sword to Henry Obadiah which has been passed down to each generation through the eldest son. The sword is currently in the possession of Charles Ewing Clark of Idaho.
