General Notes:
Robert received his A.B. from the Un. of PA in 1870. He was a pioneer in construction engineering. He was a member of the the surveying expedition under General Thomas L. Rosser, across the Western plains, route of present N.P. R.R. For his issue and other lineages see Vol. VI of the Abridged Compendium of American Genealogy. He was an official of the PA Railroad and of the Am. Railroad Assn. His religion was Roman Catholic and he resided at 253 Forest Rd., Merion, PA. 39
